Play At The Collegiate Level

It All Started With A Dream...

"...Bottom of the ninth, two outs, bases loaded, full count."

Almost every baseball player heard those words flash through their minds. It started in the back yard, then later in a little league championship game. Finally, in the last moments of a high school playoff game. The hope is to hear them again, when you’re  playing college baseball someday.

According to the NCAA Eligibility Center, only 7% of all high school baseball players will go on to play college baseball. Only 2% will play Division I. Another 2% will play Division II. Only 3% will play Division III. Most people don’t realize, but every at-bat for a high school player feels like the bottom of the ninth – in that clutch moment. Without proper guidance in the college process, a player could lose that at-bat and become a victim of those NCAA statistics.

So here you are. You believe you’ve put in the work. You’ve spent countless hours with fiery passion that burned inside since you were a kid in the back yard. The questions come. Have I worked hard enough? What have I done during the college process? The real question is, will my dream to play college baseball become a reality? Well, you’ve come to the right place. EVO’s College Prep Identification Services “CPI Services” is the answer you’re looking for.

Do You Find Yourself Asking Any Of These Questions Regarding the College Process?

We're Here To Help

EVO’s CPI Services is a guidance program designed to help student-athletes find the right college fit. It’s included in tuition for all EVO College Prep Players. Since our first year (2017), our methods have helped more than 25 players commit to play college baseball. That’s just the beginning too. Our approach leverages experience, events, technology and strong communications to provide student-athletes with everything they need to enhance their opportunity to play college baseball. CPI Services is a complete college guidance program for high school players with the mission to help place them in college. This program is executed using techniques and state-of-the-art software custom to the athlete’s personal needs in the college process.

Here's How It Works For EVO

College Prep Identification Series (CPIS)

In partnership with PBR New England, and College Prep Identification Services, we have created the College Prep Identification Series "CPIS". This event kicks off the college process each year and unlocks visibility to over 750 colleges & professional scouts via PBR player profiles. Student-athletes will use this event to update their current metrics, or have PBR player profiles create for them with metrics. These PBR profiles are included in emails to college coaches and to help validate measurable data collected that college coaches use in their own recruiting process.

Development

EVO members will practice throughout the winter to develop their skills. Our highly experienced coaching staff work directly with our athletes to help them understand the level of skill and work required to play baseball at the collegiate level. For non-EVO members, the expectation would be for those athletes to train on their own to continue to develop their skills. Our services do not include skill development for non-EVO members.

Bi-Weekly Check-Ins

Our student-athletes will meet with their CPI Services Consultant bi-weekly for check-ins. Check-ins will be used to discuss and create tasks specific to the student-athlete's own college process. This helps keep student-athletes on track and works to maintain an alignment with the recruiting "dead periods" and overall recruiting time-line. Some tasks include but aren't limited to sending emails, researching schools, researching college baseball rosters, setting up phone calls with college coaches and more. The recruiting software we use and updated custom player profiles are critical in this process and will often be accessed during check-ins.
