Program Overview

12U Developmental (Intro Development)

Focuses heavily on teaching fundamentals. At this stage of player development, EVO wants to promote the importance of enjoying the game – while also providing proper instruction on softball fundamentals. General skills such as proper throwing, fielding, hitting, pitching, running and catching techniques, as well as the importance of their team community is at the forefront of the program. This approach develops and maintains competitiveness in an enjoyable, supportive environment which breeds commitment to each player’s own development.

  • TVL or SELECT League (May-July weekly games) (subject to change)
  • Spring/Summer Tournaments x3 (subject to change)
  • Fall Tournaments x2 (subject to change)

14U Development/Competitive (Advanced Development)

Continuing the focus of teaching fundamentals, this program will begin to explore more advanced concepts of the game. As players become faster and stronger – the game becomes more challenging. General skills may become more specialized and players work with coaches to learn deficiencies in order to turn them into strengths. Competitively, this stage of development splits into players performing at a higher skill set and players who require more time to develop in order to reach the next level. EVO players will be introduced to the recruiting process.

  • Fall Tournament x2-3 (subject to change)
  • Spring/Summer Tournament x6 (subject to change)

16U Competitive (High School & College Prep)

High School and College Prep focuses on helping players reach the next level. There is a continued commitment to fundamentals and implementing more advanced concepts of the game. EVO players will be introduced to the recruiting process. Through our guidance program, players and families will learn to research and communicate with coaches in addition, players are given access to college recruiting tools and opportunities such as showcases and tournaments that puts them in front of college coaches and evaluators. EVO does not make the promise of getting recruited – only the promise to be each player’s personal guide through a very challenging and overwhelming process.

  • Fall Tournament x2-3 (subject to change)
  • Spring/Summer Tournament x5-6 (subject to change)
